Poetic Dose: Escape

endless paths
sudden dead ends
darkness descending
trapped in this labyrinth

i have walked
in circles, wearily
running toward
the same unyielding walls

i look up
no other way but up
pull me up
pull me up
now
breathless
into the arms
   of rapidly swirling stars
