(Art: Haplos by Mark Justiniani)
Dream Walker
She came to him in dreams
Always only in dreams;
Of black and white
That melted into grey;
Then, of deep purple black
Riddled with pinpricks of light;
Of stretches of verdant fields
Flanked by Ents that swayed and danced;
And of gold, bright and then mellow
Resting against blues and salmon hues;
She came to him in dreams
Always only in dreams;
Until her palettes emptied like a raging river
Into a vast and colorless ocean;
And then, once more,
She came to him in a dream;
To retrieve a drop of amber
Remnant of her heart and soul;
And he
He remained slumbering ...
As in all the times she came.
