I have believed
You
The dream of you
The possibility of you

I have followed
You
Amongst crowds
Into vast empty fields

I have touched
You
Your hands
And broad strong chest

I have felt
You
Your warmth
And the beating of your heart

Only in dreams ...

I have lost
You
In the sudden turns
And the sudden drops

Powerless

I let go of
You
The dream of you
The possibility of you

... and me.
