Sweet Sleep, take me back into your embrace;
Let me dream of my love for a few more brief moments;
Keep Wakefulness at bay until he kisses me awake.

Hold fast, my heart
Take courage, my spirit
For as long as this breath lingers
Truth shall not be silenced
Let my legacy be
That I fought on the side of Freedom
For the love of country
And its generations to come.
